Privacy Policy

ChallengeLuke is a privately owned football prediction app and website operated at www.challengeluke.co.uk. We use account and game data to provide the service, not to sell data, share data for marketing, or send marketing messages.
What Data We Collect
We collect the information needed to create and run your account, including account email address, player name, password authentication data, profile type, league memberships, invite codes, saved predictions, points, awards, avatar choices and account settings.
If you create child or managed profiles, we store the profile names and related game activity needed to run those profiles inside the account. Child profiles are designed to be private by default.
How We Use Data
We use your data for signing in, managing profiles, saving and scoring predictions, showing league tables, running private leagues, showing awards, handling password resets and keeping the service secure.
Lawful Use Of Data
We use account and game data because it is needed to provide the ChallengeLuke service requested by users, keep accounts secure, and meet basic legal or operational responsibilities. We do not rely on consent for marketing because we do not use the data for marketing.
No Sale Or Marketing Use
We do not sell user data. We do not share user data with third parties for marketing. We do not use account data or prediction data for marketing campaigns.
When Data May Be Shared
We only share data where it is needed to operate the service, for example with hosting, database, authentication, email delivery or payment providers if those services are configured. Those providers should process data only for the service purpose, not for their own marketing.
If a provider processes data outside the UK, we expect appropriate safeguards to be used by that provider.
Private Leagues And Visibility
Private league tables, memberships, messages and invite codes are intended for the relevant league participants. Public leaderboard visibility depends on profile settings. Child profiles should remain private unless a parent changes the relevant settings.
Your Choices And Rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete account data, and you can object to or restrict certain uses of personal data where the law gives you that right. Some information may need to be retained where required for security, legal records or league integrity.
Account Deletion
You can request account deletion in the app. Deleting an account also deletes child or player profiles under that account. Accounts that own private leagues must delete or transfer those leagues before account deletion can continue.
Security And Retention
Passwords are stored as password hashes, not plain text. We keep account and game data for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain league history, support account access, and protect the integrity of scoring and competition records.
Questions Or Complaints
Questions about privacy or account data should be raised through the contact options provided on www.challengeluke.co.uk. You may also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
